The risks involved with performing a process tranformation project are significant. The success rate can be improved if a formal process with concrete guidance is used. This paper introduces an object-oriented approach to process transformation and information system development. The proposed approach affords adequate freedom, encourages innovative thinking and points the way to the desired goals. Its main aim is to combine different activities into a uniform process with the use of object-oriented modelling.
