Much talk is going on in the recent years about the potential development of e-Government. This development is related on one hand to delivering new innovative services to the interested parties and on the other hand to the more efficient support of back-office. The employees involved in supporting the delivery of public goods must exploit more effectively the knowledge generated by the entire public sector. To make this happen tools need to be adopted related to the creation and management of knowledge. In this paper we present the concept of knowledge, its creation and coding and the application of the previous in e-Government.
