This research aims to give learners more content-dependent scaffolding in self-directed learning of history. Learners use a system made to provide adaptable support depending of the learners' interests and skills. The system gathers information online and analyzes it to extract semantic information to create a semantic open learning space. Learners explore this space by choosing questions to ask from a list generated by the system. This list of questions is generated dynamically depending on the learner's processes.
