We propose an efficient implementation for a multi-stage blind signal detector for spread spectrum signals suitable for wireless ad hoc network nodes. The multi-stage blind signal detector separately detects all signals from surrounding nodes after RAKE combining using neither training sequences nor signal timing information. However it requires a large scale memory and results in heavy computational load. In this paper, we solve this problem by avoiding the generation of replica signals. The performance verification is conducted by computer simulations.
