In this research paper, we will consider the nature of our interactions with autonomous robot, with the aim to determine whether information about their nature (as well as information about the way in which robots proceed or, more generally, act in accordance with goals) should be shared among the people involved. We will consider the differences between sharing information and having common knowledge, which seem to be two separate concepts. Indeed, this could have a great impact on a key feature we recognize relevant in our interactions, namely sociability. This theoretical framework becomes even more relevant if it is applied to a specific case, such as work. Work itself is traditionally meant as a field for the promotion of sociability and trust in other people. The differences which could be promoted by new kinds of works and interactions will be also taken into consideration.
