Description

No systematic analysis has been carried out on the nomenclature of angels in Jewish magical texts ranging in date from Late Antiquity to the modern period. Employing computational methods, we have mined a unique and substantial corpus from the Cairo Genizah, extracting from it contextualised information on angel names.
