Solving mechanics problems: PAT - pulleys and things
Abstract
PAT is a program that does part of the natural language processing for a project to solve mechanics problems. The project is headed by Dr. Alan Bundy at the University of Edinburgh, with Dr. George Luger, Robert Welham, and myself as research workers.
