Development of visual communication applications by combining multisource video data

Abstract

In this paper, we present an ambiance sharing application based on multimedia streams. The functionalities toward an ambient communication are studied. We described also the architecture of our application and give the results of its experimentations in various contexts. From these works, we define a new application' architecture based on a flexible, adaptive and distributed multimedia framework.
