Abstract

This paper describes the process Lab Services at the University of Tennessee uses to communicate with customers. The process includes several inexpensive means of communication. Forms of communication can be through paper signs, web pages, and face-to-face communication between staff and customers. Consistent two-way communication is the key to having a good relationship with customers. Good communication can be accomplished on a limited budget but have excellent results over time.
