Preparing the legacy networks for broadband services

Abstract

For delivering NGN services to customers, the legacy networks must experience various evolutions. This paper dissects the first crucial steps in this way.Data gathering and automation of network information archive, access network check and refinement, and local loop qualification will be introduced as basic steps toward preparing the legacy telephone networks for offering broadband services.
