ABSTRACT
Virtual Reality or VR is a computer-designed environment that allows the user to interact within the digital environment as he or she would in a real world situation. VR has been successfully used in game development, medical technology and flight simulation. Virtual Studio is a partial immersive, interactive virtual learning environment that is based on the metaphor of the artist studio. Its primarily use will be to teach elementary students about the techniques, styles and history of artist and art. Each part of Virtual Studio is named after major artists, who used or pioneered a particular style or technique. There are three core sections of Virtual Studio: 1) Architectural Design, 2) Sculptural Design, 3) Digital Painting and Color Theory.

Interactive virtual studio and immersive televiewer environment
VRST '99: Proceedings of the ACM symposium on Virtual reality software and technologyIn this paper, we propose a novel virtual studio system in which an anchor in the virtual set interacts with televiewers as if they were sharing the same environment. A televiewer participates in the virtual studio environment by sensing and controlling ...
Immersive virtual studio for architectural exploration
3DUI '10: Proceedings of the 2010 IEEE Symposium on 3D User InterfacesArchitects use a variety of analog and digital tools and media to plan and design constructions. Immersive virtual reality (VR) technologies have shown great potential for architectural design, especially for exploration and review of design proposals. ...
HFX studio: haptic editor for full-body immersive experiences
VRST '18: Proceedings of the 24th ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and TechnologyCurrent virtual reality systems enable users to explore virtual worlds, fully embodied in avatars. This new type of immersive experience requires specific authoring tools. The traditional ones used in the movie and the video games industries were ...
