ABSTRACT
Geometric Computing and Reasoning (GCR) aims at emphasizing recent trends in the domain of geometric constraint solving and automated, or computer aided deduction in geometry. This year sees the third edition of this technical track of SAC.

Solving Geometric Constraints by a Hybrid Method
IV '01: Proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Information VisualisationAbstract: In computer aided design, geometric modelling by constraints enables users to describe geometric objects by geometric constraints. Many resolution methods have been proposed for solving systems of geometric constraints. Geometric methods can ...
Combining qualitative and quantitative constraints in temporal reasoning
AAAI'91: Proceedings of the ninth National conference on Artificial intelligence - Volume 1This paper presents a general model for temporal reasoning, capable of handling both qualitative and quantitative information. This model allows the representation and processing of all types of constraints considered in the literature so far, including ...
Dynamic NURBS with geometric constraints for interactive sculpting
Special issue on interactive sculptingThis article develops a dynamic generalization of the nonuniform rational B-spline (NURBS) model. NURBS have become a defacto standard in commercial modeling systems because of their power to represent free-form shapes as well as common analytic shapes. ...
