ABSTRACT
This paper provides an overview of a real-time multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication testbed designed for demonstration and assessment of real-world wireless communication aspects. The testbed is built on a modular hardware platform consisting of three different boards and incorporates a MIMO-OFDM-based physical (PHY) layer, an embedded media access controller (MAC), and an Ethernet interface. Due to the modular design of the testbed, it can be used for both, real-time and offline processing experiments with real-world aspects.

Capacity of MIMO-MAC with transmit channel knowledge in the low SNR regime
We study the sum capacity of the uplink multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) multiple-access channel (MAC) in the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime under double-scattering and Rician fading scenarios. The receiver is assumed to have ...
Sum rates, rate allocation, and user scheduling for multi-user MIMO vector perturbation precoding
This paper considers the multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) broadcast channel. We consider the case where the multiple transmit antennas are used to deliver independent data streams to multiple users via vector perturbation. We derive ...
Managing the interference structure of MIMO HSDPA: a multi-user interference aware MMSE receiver with moderate complexity
It is known that Wideband Code-Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA) networks are limited by interference more than by any other single effect. Due to the frequency selectivity of the wireless channel, intra-cell interference composed of self-and other-user ...
