Abstract
Alex Q. Chen is a PhD Student in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. His Master's thesis was entitled "Web Evolution" and involved an analysis of the time difference between the introduction of Web standards and recommendations, such as JavaScript and XHTML, and their widespread adoption by Web developers. Alex is currently studying for a PhD where his interests include Web Mining, Web Accessibility and User-Centered Design.
