NetRiver, a computer network experiment system

Published:24 October 2008Publication History

ABSTRACT

NetRiver, a computer network experimental system, includes three components, client, test server and management server. It has the following features: controllable network experimental environment for the entire protocol stack, integrated compiling environment supporting code editing, compiling, and debugging, visual protocol message capture and conduct analysis, multi-level experimental means, scalable script-based experiment description and implementation, automatic test based on coordination test method, and rich featured experiment management platform. NetRiver broadens the content of computer network experiment, enriches the experimental means and improves the efficiency of the experiment.
