ABSTRACT
This poster describes a framework that automatically generates learning support scaffolds to guide task-based learning. The aim is to combine the exploratory learning principles prominent in digital games with the rich user modeling and adaptation of intelligent tutoring systems.

Scaffolding problem solving in technology-enhanced learning environments (TELEs): Bridging research and theory with practice
With the expanding availability and capability of varied technologies, classroom-based problem solving has become an increasingly attainable, yet still elusive, goal. Evidence of technology-enhanced problem-solving teaching and learning in schools has ...
Courseware integration into task-based learning: A case study of multimedia courseware-supported oral presentations for non-english major students
This study reports on the integration of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) multimedia courseware for oral presentations into a self-learning and elective program for non-English major students in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) setting. A ...
Supporting self-regulated learning in computer-based learning environments: systematic review of effects of scaffolding in the domain of science education
Despite the widespread assumption that students require scaffolding support for self-regulated learning (SRL) processes in computer-based learning environments (CBLEs), there is little clarity as to which types of scaffolds are most effective. This ...
