ABSTRACT
This paper has focused on the integration of renewable energy, specifically the solar energy resources into conventional electric grid and deployment of smart architecture of hybrid energy system in the user-centric pervasive computing concept in the context of Kyoto Protocol for sustainable development of the rural and urban sector. A concept of next generation mobile smart-grid city for efficient real-time collaborative use of renewable and non-renewable energy sources at smart user-centric device for sustainable green environment in the context of climate change is proposed

Next Day Power Forecast Model Using Smart Hybrid Energy Monitoring System and Meteorological Data
The increase in contribution of renewable energy sources into the grid is part of smart grid initiatives. The integration of renewables such as solar energy into the electrical network is a challenge for grid operators because of its intermittency due ...
Next Generation Data Centers Business Models Enabling Multi-Resource Integration for Smart City Optimized Energy Efficiency
e-Energy '15: Proceedings of the 2015 ACM Sixth International Conference on Future Energy SystemsAn innovative approach for increasing the energy efficiency of Data Centers is discussed. This approach views Data Centers as active load resources, integrated in the context of the smart city and operated in a coordinated manner. Data Centers can thus ...
Ubiquitous environmental infra systems for the green city
ICHIT '09: Proceedings of the 2009 International Conference on Hybrid Information TechnologyIt is our objective to introduce a concept for the ubiquitous environmental infra system for controlling green house gas (GHG) emissions. The system suggested here was designed to collect data for GHGs generated from various point and non-point sources ...
