Research of mainframe CICS application integration using CICS SCA

Published:24 November 2009Publication History

ABSTRACT

CICS SCA is a middleware of service oriented programming model. Using CICS SCA to integrate the present CICS application into web service is one of the key points of the SOA project transition of banking system, which can help resolve the inconvenience caused by the cross-language and cross-image situation. The paper discusses the CICS application integration of data transmission based on COMMAREA and CONTAINER. Through the discussion of this paper, it shows that it is completely feasible using the CICS SCA to integrate the present CICS application into Web Service and further do SOA project transition.
