Annotating WSDL by CIDOC CRM

Published: 24 November 2009 Publication History

Abstract

The processing of heterogeneous data is needed in a distributed data-integrating environment. Based on the normal functions of the web services, this paper proposes a feasible way that annotates the meaning of the data received from a web service by the semantic annotation for integrating digital information. The web services users who understand better the meanings of web data criteria by the additional semantic information described by the CIDOC CRM can operate the received data correctly in their application.
