ABSTRACT
In this paper, we analyze the main characteristics of the e-Government Maturity Model developed by the Government Agency for e-Government and the Knowledge and Information Society (AGESIC) of Uruguay. The purpose of the model is to contribute to national governance through the enhancement of Information Technology (IT) governance. The objective of this model is to provide guidelines for determining available capacities and to induce positive outcomes.
