ABSTRACT
Skin detection has always been a very important first step for developing any face detection or recognition system. Extracting the information based on the color and frequency of a color image and then analyzing this information forms the basis of face detection. In this paper a fast method for human skin detection in color images using the YCbCr color space and Wavelet Transform.
