A computer network implemented on a single multi-port timeshare facility

Published:18 April 1977Publication History

ABSTRACT

This paper details implementation of a multi node computer network on a single timeshare facility. Nodes are composed of three integrated software modules and from one to five serial asynchronous teletype ports. Each software module corresponds to a conceptual layer of network operation. Each teletype port forms a network communication link.
