Strategic Dialogue toolkit: facilitated methods for user experience & design research

Published:01 November 2010Publication History

ABSTRACT

The Strategic Dialogue workshop presented in workshop format the structure and pedagogy of a structured dialogue and decision conference based on leading facilitative practices. The workshop provided a means for multidisciplinary groups oriented toward a common goal or project to generate the components of a business or product strategy using a form of socially-organized design. This approach was framed as a macro design process, whereby the typical stages of artifact design (ideation, formulation, solution and construction) were mediated socially toward the participatory construction of proposals, plans and decisions.
