Published: 19 May 2011 Publication History

Abstract

Facebook is the most popular social networking site, with more than 500 million active members. It has brought new opportunities for the learning and career development of students that live with technology and networked communications. This study explores the design of an e-mentoring Facebook application intended to bring together students, faculty, and Information Technology (IT) professionals as mentors and mentees.
