Towards semistructured information integrating using XML and deductive logic

Published: 26 June 2011 Publication History

Abstract

This paper introduces an approach to the information extracting (IE) from the web through deductive rules using semantic trees. This set of rules is based on heuristics beside a rigorous classification of tables and the detection of elements of tables, given their structure and complexity. The purpose of this research consists in generating XML-Type Documents in order to integrate the information got in the extraction process.
