ABSTRACT
Mapping the specification IMS Learning Design and the tracking system we have developed and have been using for several years, called Merlin-Mo, is a logical step forward on interoperability between e-Learning tracking systems and specifications. In order to increase the best acceptance of the specifications into the widespread world of e-Learning systems and to ensure the standardization of the outputs from the systems to be used in others.

An IMS-Learning Design Editor for a Higher Education Blended Learning Scenario
ICALT '08: Proceedings of the 2008 Eighth IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning TechnologiesThe IMS-Learning Design has been developed to support the creation of reusable and pedagogically neutral learning scenarios and content. Although it is especially suitable for eLearning, there is a lot of interest on using it in higher education blended ...
Using IMS Learning Design to Author Authentic Learning Examples in Mobile Context
WMUTE '12: Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE Seventh International Conference on Wireless, Mobile and Ubiquitous Technology in EducationModern mobile devices are equipped with input and sensor options that allow for user generated content, which can be used to create examples of real life learning situations, or authentic learning examples. However, existing research shows a gap between ...
Authoring game-based adaptive units of learning with IMS Learning Design and <e-Adventure>
Electronic games and simulations (eGames) are a valuable support for adaptive learning. This adaptation can be based on different inputs, such as the user's performance, behaviour or cognitive load. Both adaptation and eGames can be modelled with IMS ...
