Quality assurance case study of an ICT supported legally binding election in Austria

Abstract

The use of new technologies in established procedures such as electronic elections is often an underestimated task. More technology does not mean more quality. The challenge of quality assurance is described in this paper focusing on an ICT supported legally binding election in Austria.
