A method for personalized 3D design of product based on Web3D

Published: 20 June 2013 Publication History

Abstract

The statistics show that consumers have a strong desire of personalized products, and we can forecast that the consumption of personalized products will be another growth point of the e-commerce. Then, is it a rational plan for us to develop a new tool for interactive 3D product design based on Web3D Technology, which allows ordinary consumers to do the personalized product design, and display it in the most realistic three-dimensional effect?
