ABSTRACT
Many studies on an aged face image synthesis have been reported with the purpose of security application such as investigation for criminal or kidnapped child and entertainment applications such as movie or video game.

Modeling Expressive Wrinkles of Face For Animation
ICIG '07: Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Image and GraphicsVivid facial expressions contribute greatly to the visual realism of 3D face models. However, it is often tedious and expensive to model facial details which are authentic and real-time. In this paper, a simple and functional approach for modeling ...
Extraction and manipulation of wrinkles and spots for facial image synthesis
FGR' 04: Proceedings of the Sixth IEEE international conference on Automatic face and gesture recognitionExtraction of wrinkles and spots in facial images is useful not only for face recognition, but also facial image synthesis. While many studies have focused on extraction of facial parts, such as eyes, a mouth, or a nose, only a few studies have ...
Physically-based forehead animation including wrinkles
Physically-based animation techniques enable more realistic and accurate animation to be created. We present a fully physically-based approach for efficiently producing realistic-looking animations of facial movement, including animation of expressive ...
