Turbo IC/Decoding for Coded Multi-Carrier DS-CDMA

Published: 01 December 2013 Publication History

Abstract

This paper proposes an interference cancellation (IC) scheme, which is termed Turbo IC/decoding. For the proposed scheme, parallel interference cancellation and decoding (PIC/decoding) is combined with Turbo signal processing and performs joint detection and decoding, differently from conventional PIC and decoding, The analysis and simulations for Turbo IC/decoding are made by the computer, which shows that Turbo IC/decoding acquires better performance with a posteriori log-likelihood rate (LLR) feedback than with a priori LLR feedback and outperforms the conventional PIC/decoding in performance significantly. The proposed Turbo IC/decoding scheme exhibits dominant performance advantage and promises future practical application.
