Financial literacy in portugal: state of the art and gap analysis

Abstract

In this paper we present the main research outputs from the first stage of the European project eFinlit: Developing Financial Competencies for EU Citizens Utilizing Online Learning and Digital Literacy, which concerns the acquisition of financial literacy competencies in young adults. The objective of this project is to develop an online curriculum, supported by web based technologies, in order to help citizens to better face the economic challenges occurring in society. This paper also describes the project, the partnership and the future work.
