Development of Interactive Applications Connecting Real and Virtual Objects Using the MPEG-V Standard

Published: 27 October 2015 Publication History

Abstract

This paper describes a 4 hours short course summary to be presented by the authors during WebMedia 2015. The short course is about the development of interoperable interactive applications based on the ISO/IEC 23005 - MPEG-V Standard. This standard encompasses specifications regarding device capabilities, sensory effects, virtual world object characteristics and data format for interactions devices.
