ABSTRACT

Posthuman Research is a performative project asking about the identity of a woman as a techno-object. The video performance consists of two videos with a large correlation of meanings. A cyborg-like female object without a face is asking Google Translator about her identity, wondering when and where it got lost in the network. A pregnant female body covered in dark paint is sitting on a ground silently, while unknown character pours heaps of white liquids over her head. Both females wonder, when did they lose an account of who they are. First and final role of woman: being a goddess or being a robotic slave. Do we have chance to choose our roles in contemporary society?
