ABSTRACT

With the development of the Internet, the Internet public opinion has become one of the hot issues of public opinion research. While bringing convenience to the society, the Internet development may also trigger the corresponding contradictions and conflicts. By analyzing the research status quo of China's Internet public opinion, this paper grasps the theoretical research and practical application of China's Internet public opinion on the whole, points out the four stages of the development of Internet public opinion, and probes into the early warning and monitoring, spread and evolution and governance mechanism of China's Internet public opinion. It sets up the early warning index system model of the Internet public opinion on this basis, and puts forward the suggestions for the government monitoring of the Internet public opinion from the three aspects, namely technical support, quick report and source contain, so as to provide research reference for effectively improving the Chinese government's ability to deal with the Internet public opinion.
