Wearable bass tactile sound systems and immersion

Published:28 November 2017Publication History

ABSTRACT

This paper presents an investigation into wearable tactile bass sound systems and how they can be used to heighten a user's experience within two different scenarios. The wearable in discussion will be a backpack known as the Subpac. User testing was conducted within both scenarios where the users gave feedback on their experience with the device. A key outcome of this project was that users noted an increase in their enjoyment within both scenarios.
