ABSTRACT
Humans are dependent upon specific information to fulfill their needs, which suffices their social existence. Due to advancement in technology, humans try to satisfy their social needs through smart devices. However, these devices are not able to completely justify the human needs and humans strive for companionship to combat loneliness. We propose to design a robot (MAI) that can monitor, assist and interact with humans for their better livelihood.

Towards Natural Emotional Expression and Interaction: Development of Anthropomorphic Emotion Expression and Interaction Robots
In present research the advanced fundamental mechanical capabilities of anthropomorphic robots developed in Takanishi laboratory at Waseda University are to be enhanced in order to enable these robots to interact with humans in a natural way. The ...
Optimizing motion of robotic manipulators in interaction with human operators
ICIRA'11: Proceedings of the 4th international conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications - Volume Part IRecently, the problem of how to manipulate industrial robots that interact with human operators attracts a lot of attention in robotics research. This interest stems from the insight that the integration of human operators into robot based manufacturing ...
Beyond Dyadic Interactions: Assessing Trust Networks in Multi-Human-Robot Teams
HRI '24: Companion of the 2024 ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot InteractionMany HRI applications (such as in search and rescue; SAR) require multiple humans to interact with robot agents, making it essential to understand and evaluate both the trust in robots and trust in teams when robots are embedded into such team ...
