Research on the Influence of Tensioning Device in the Dynamic Process of Belt Conveyor

Published: 29 December 2018 Publication History

Abstract

Whether or not to use the tensioning device and parameter determination during the transmission of the belt conveyor has been a problem. In this paper, the flat belt conveyor is the research object.By establishing the model and using the ADAMS software to carry out numerical simulation and dynamic simulation of the model, the dynamic characteristics of the belt conveyor with different driving speeds and tension devices were analyzed and compared. We got a conclusion that the effect of tensioning device is important. The change in the radius of the tensioning wheel and adjusting the center of rotation of the tensioning device can all change the tension of the belt conveyor, indicating that it is better to adjust the center position of the tensioning device.
