Efficient Measuring and Processing of Polarized Signals

Published: 10 May 2019 Publication History

Abstract

In this paper, how to measure and process efficiently the polarized signals is addressed. First, we derive the "efficient" configuration of electromagnetic vector-sensor mounted on an aircraft to measure efficiently polarized electromagnetic wave. By using electromagnetic vector-sensor array with "efficient" configuration, second, we design a beam pattern with control of both the desired spatial power pattern and arbitrary polarization. By using the optimization toolbox (SeDuMi 1.05) in Matlab, the beam pattern has synthesized in numerical simulations. The results show that the beam pattern has lower peak side-lobe level, by using the sparse array with fewer elements.
