Study on the Influence of Structural Parameters of Multi-Dimensional Force Sensor on Test Sensitivity

Published: 19 July 2019 Publication History

Abstract

Piezoelectric force sensors are widely used in intelligent equipment, especially in the demand of force/moment feedback for joint robots. Sensor sensitivity is one of the important indicators of testing performance. In the design process of multidimensional force sensor, the change of structural parameters directly affects sensor sensitivity. In this paper, based on a small size, large range and high precision six-dimensional force sensor, a static model is established, and the mapping expression between structural parameters and charge sensitivity is obtained. Then, the sensor model is established by using finite element software, and its simulation analysis is carried out. The variation of sensitivity of crystal group under the same axial load and tangential load is studied. This paper provides an important reference for the determination of structural parameters of piezoelectric multidimensional force sensor.
