Abstract

In these proceedings we present a report from the Working Groups that convened at the inaugural ACM Global Computing Education (CompEd), held in Chengdu, China, in May17-19, 2019.

The Working Groups at CompEd comprised teams of researchers who worked together on a project related to computing education. The Working Groups began working electronically before the CompEd conference and convened at CompEd for several days of face-to-face work before the conference. At the end of the conference the groups submitted a draft report and two months later they submitted a final report for review.

In 2019 seven proposals for Working Groups were received and three convened at CompEd. Participants presented their results to conference attendees at a special working group presentation session. Their final reports were blind reviewed by three expert reviewers and one report was selected for publication in these proceedings for the ACM Digital Library.
