Completion Rate, Satisfaction and Opinion on Thai Massive Open Online Courses: Reflection on SWU MOOC's Learners

Published: 03 May 2020 Publication History

Abstract

In Thailand, the government (as Thai Cyber University: TCU) has recognized and promoted Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for Thai people nationwide to provide a lifelong learning space without limitations of attendances. In this regard, TCU has funded Srinakharinwirote University (SWU) to develop one course containing 10 subjects according to quality standards of practice in teaching and learning in Thai MOOC system. This paper reported and discussed the completion rate and satisfaction of completion learners who enrolled and completed in SWU MOOC. The results showed that the completion learners are 21% (655 persons). The opinions of completion learners were discussed.
