Research on Optimization of Export Operation Process of CHINA RAILWAY Express in Central Container Station Based on Petri Net - from a Perspective of Sustainability

Published: 30 May 2020 Publication History

Abstract

With the in-depth implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative in China, the CHINA RAILWAY Express has become the closest link between China and the countries along the belt road. As the main operation node of the CHINA RAILWAY Express, the sustainable development of a central container station is of great significance for promoting the high-quality transformation of the CHINA RAILWAY Express.
In this paper, based on field research, modeling analysis of the operation process of the CHINA RAILWAY Express in a central container station were conducted by Petri net methods and the Flexsim simulation software was used to simulate the operation process. Addressing the problems of poor business connections of the related participants of the station, a lengthy and jumbled operation process and the low level of information management, this paper has put forward corresponding optimization measures, so that the optimized operation process not only effectively reduces the overstocking of operation links, but also improves the efficiency of the overall operation process.
