Development Conception and Promotion Strategy of Bus System of the Future

Published: 09 November 2020 Publication History

Abstract

With the accelerating urbanization process, the traffic congestion, air pollution and other negative impacts in the field of urban transportation are becoming more and more serious, at the same time, the application of cutting-edge technologies such as automatic driving and information communication technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to the development of public transport in China, which requires scientific development from the perspective of long-term development. Therefore, in order to explore the development direction of China bus system of the future, this paper expounds the necessity of the subversive change faced by the bus system from three aspects: the change of travel demand, the change of transportation technology and the aggravation of business pressure. Secondly, the paper puts forward the future development concept of bus system, and points out its development orientation, core characteristics and system composition. Finally, the "three steps" development plan and promotion strategy of the future bus system are put forward.
