Multi - step stamping forming simulation of air conditioning panel based on Dynaform

Published: 04 January 2021 Publication History

Abstract

Double-machine air conditioning panel is a stamping part with many forming processes and complicated shapes. Its forming processes include punching, expanding, expanding, flanging, expanding and bending, etc. Because there are many processes and many factors affecting the accuracy of the workpiece, traditional qualitative analysis, physical simulation and experimental verification are used in determining the stamping process plan and mold design, which makes the production cycle longer and the cost higher. Experience in the production of knowledge is not intuitive, not system, and the numerical simulation technology can analyze the sheet metal stamping process, can provide material deformation mechanics of detailed information, the traditional rely on qualitative analysis and the practical experience of the past into quantitative numerical analysis process analysis, realized the digital parts forming process, forming quality evaluation in advance, process inspection, optimization of stamping process and die design parameters, provides the theory basis for reasonable material selection, etc.
