Research on Data Mining and Visualization Technology

Abstract
Nowadays, we are surrounded by huge amounts of data, and massive amounts of data have become an important strategic resource for all walks of life. In 2007, Jim Gray, a pioneer in the database field, pointed out that big data will become an effective way for humans to touch, understand and approximate complex systems in reality, and believes that the fourth paradigm-"data exploration" will be ushered in. It started the upsurge of examining big data from the perspective of scientific research. Starting from the development status of big data at home and abroad, this paper introduces the basic concept of big data, characteristics of big data and processing flow, and finally introduces the key technologies related to data mining as well as their advantages and disadvantages.
