ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the innovation of elementary school prospective principals in Karanganyar Regency. This research was a cross-sectional study using quantitative methods. The study population was elementary school teachers in Karanganyar Regency. The samples of this study were 40 teachers / prospective principals. The sampling in this study was conducted using random sampling techniques. The data were collected using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using logistic regression analysis techniques. Based on the analysis results, the following conclusions were drawn: COVID-19 Pandemic has siginificant impact on the innovation of elementary school prospective principals in Karanganyar Regency. Prospective principals who live in the Covid-19 zone have seven times greater innovation capability than those who live in the white zone (OR = 6.79; 95% CI = 1.18 -38.89). This conclusion was made after controlling the influence of gender as a confounding factor.
