Development and Application of Electric Peeling Tool for Distribution Work Operation Robot

Published: 17 May 2021 Publication History

Abstract

Aiming at the problems of poor safety and high labor intensity existing in manual living operation, an electric peeling tool suitable for robot was developed in this paper. The overall structure, control system and cable skin removal part of the tool were introduced. Based on these, 200 times peeling test of the tool were carried out, and no failure occurred. Finally, field application was conducted for the tool with the matching robot. The results showed that the tool was highly intelligent and there was no peeling failure exist. which indicating that the tool can meet the requirements of high-voltage live working for robot. The tool provided a new operation method for promoting the automation and intelligent inspection of live working.
