Application Prospect Analysis of Civil Nuclear Ships

Abstract
Through the analysis of the development status and prospects of nuclear ships, the challenges facing the development of nuclear ships are explained. Based on the statistics of the design of nuclear ship reactors and their bunkers, the layout position and protection suggestions of reactor compartments are put forward. A formula for estimating the volume of the reactor compartment and its auxiliary compartment based on the reactor power is given, which can provide support for the preliminary design of nuclear ships.
