ABSTRACT

In 2015, the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving Aesthetic Education in Schools. Schools at all levels and regions have responded positively and the curriculum and practical research results have been increasingly abundant. In order to accurately grasp the current research situation of aesthetic education in Chinese universities in this paper, based on the principle of scientometrics and information visualization and the database CNKI provides from 2010 to 2020, near 500 articles in this field are analyzed with the use of CITESPACE information visualization software and the results are drawn into corresponding knowledge mapping. By the summarization and analysis of the knowledge mapping, the current research situation in universities are further clarified, and new ideas are provided for the exploration of the future development path of aesthetic education in colleges and universities.
