Design and Experiment on Vertical Conical Vacuum Spraying Machine for Extruded Feed

Published: 24 March 2021 Publication History

Abstract

Considering the facts that grease was difficult to be added into feed particles during processing, and the traditional grease spraying equipment had disadvantages of low addition and poor uniformity. In order to solve above problems, the design of vertical conical vacuum spraying machine for extruded feed was carried out. According to the kinematics and dynamics analysis of feed particles in the process of vertical transportation and throwing, the main structure of spiral blade, spray nozzle and tank body, as well as the main working parameter range of rotating speed, spraying angle and height of distribution barrel were determined. The simulation test and performance test of machine which used golden pomfret extruded feed as the research object were carried out. The results of parameter calibration test revealed that the static friction and rolling coefficient between particles were 0.54 and 0.05, the collision recovery coefficient between particles was 0.60, the static friction and rolling coefficient between particles and steel plate were 0.47 and 0.08, and the collision recovery coefficient between particles and steel plate was 0.58. The simulation test results revealed when the rotating speed was 120 ~ 180r/min and the distance between distribution barrel and top nozzle was 60mm, the thickness of material layer formed after throwing was small, and the particles were evenly dispersed. The particles were in the well spraying state. The working performance test results revealed when the machine was in better working parameters, the amount of grease added in extruded feed could reach 30%~35% which met the processing requirements of extruded feed.
